Hangar 9 Theatre Co. is a Chicago based theatre company specializing in new works and contemporary plays. The company performs in storefront theaters around the city. It was formed in 2008 by graduates of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. The name of the company stems from a favorite local bar in Carbondale.

Currently we are setting our sights on networking and bringing in artists from myriad backgrounds in the Chicago area.
